Hello!

My name is Meredith Kratochwill. I am a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, where I earned a dual degree with a B.F.A. in Art and Design from the Stamps School of Art & Design (concentrating in animation and video) and a B.A. in Film, Television, and Media with a Screenwriting Sub-Major from the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.

In my screenwriting, I primarily write feature-length scripts in the horror, thriller, and drama genres. I have experience writing television drama scripts as well. In my writing practice, I also enjoy creating short pieces of prose in the literary fiction, speculative fiction, and literary horror genres.

For my animated pieces, I work most prominently in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. However, I also love experimenting with incorporating traditional media. For my lens-based work, I have experience with Panasonic camcorders, Canon cameras, and 16 mm film.
